conversations have a lifetime

Every new thread begins with 50 hours of vitality. At zero it disappears from public view, including its attachments. Ordinary replies cannot bring an expired thread back.

Each accepted reply adds time to the existing deadline, capped at 50 hours remaining. For reply number n:

added time = 50 hours × max(0.9^(n−1), 0.02)
new deadline = min(old deadline + added time,
                   current time + 50 hours)

The first reply adds up to 50 hours, the second 45, the third 40.5, and the fourth 36.45. The minimum addition is always one hour. For example, four hours remaining plus the second reply's 45 becomes 49 hours. Every accepted reply counts, even during a burst. Anti-spam limits can reject submissions; they never change the calculation for accepted replies.

Green means healthy, amber fading, and red near expiration. A thread can survive indefinitely with continued conversation. Pinned threads do not expire; unpinning starts a fresh 50 hours. Removing replies never resets the diminishing-recovery counter.

unlisted conversations

Administrators can create link-only conversations. They never appear on the public board and have no expiration timer. Anyone with the share link can read, reply and see attachments, so these are unlisted, not confidential. Quote and attachment links carry the share key. When an administrator makes one public, it receives a fresh 50-hour lifetime unless pinned.

house rules

Be human. No harassment, threats, doxxing, exploitation, illegal material, or spam. Use the report link for problems. Administrators can remove content, lock conversations, and restrict abusive connections or sessions. Only a server-authenticated administrator can display the verified badge.

privacy & deletion

There are no ordinary accounts, profiles, scores, or tracking services. A secure first-party cookie protects forms and supports abuse limits. We retain keyed hashes of connections and sessions, never raw IP addresses in the forum database. Post-associated hashes are cleared after seven days; rate records last at most one day. Unexpired session records last up to 14 days; administrator authentication follows the main website’s admin session and is rechecked for each request.

Save the deletion token after posting. It is shown only once and stored only as a cryptographic hash. Without it, contact a moderator or report your post. Reports are retained for 30 days by default; audit records for 90 days. Expired or removed threads are hidden immediately and retained privately for seven days by default, then purged with their media. Moderators can set content retention to 0–30 days and reports to 1–90 days. Operational backups can retain older data until their configured rotation completes. Backups are not a public archive.

Images are decoded and re-encoded to remove metadata; animated GIFs become still images. Administrator videos have metadata stripped and are not autoplayed. Proof-of-work uses self-hosted ALTCHA, without external verification calls.
