why botherThis stack replaces pieces of Google Photos, Google Drive, Google Docs, streaming services, game hosts, and normal web hosting with services I control myself.
It is not magic and it is not always easier. The point is ownership, privacy, repairability, and learning how the infrastructure underneath daily life actually works.
